Halloween dressing can begin with clothes you would choose beyond the occasion. A fitted blazer already carries authority; a metallic dress changes beneath evening light; lace and feather-effect cuffs can suggest something darker before makeup is added.
For Halloween, ELLY explores three styling worlds through FW27: a sharply tailored vampire army, an evening masquerade and an after-midnight party where three women become entirely different characters.
ELLY Vampire Army

The Roberta Black Gold-Button Blazer and Roberta Bordeaux Gold-Button Blazer have fitted waists, high structured necklines and double rows of gold-tone buttons. Paired with the Queen Tailored Trousers in Nero, the jackets create a precise silhouette through the shoulders, waist and tapered barrel legs.
Dark lipstick, defined eye makeup and sleek hair can carry the look into Halloween. Fangs make the vampire identity unmistakable for a costume-led party, but the tailoring can also stand on its own when the dress code calls for eveningwear with a theatrical detail.
Vampire Masquerade

For a masquerade, start with a strapless jumpsuit or metallic dress. The Mabel Black Strapless Jumpsuit and Mabel Red Strapless Jumpsuit combine sculpted bodices, defined waists and full wide legs. The same construction feels more restrained in black and more dramatic in red.
The Elodie Argento Metallic Dress offers a softer silhouette through its long sleeves and wrap-effect waist. Its silver shimmer responds to the light, giving the dress enough detail without elaborate accessories.
Try a small eye mask if the venue permits one, or suggest the masquerade through luminous makeup, swept-back hair and one distinctive piece of jewellery.
ELLY After Midnight

After Midnight imagines three women arriving at the same party as a porcelain doll, a spider enchantress and a vampire. Each character begins with a different fabric or surface.
The porcelain doll
The Dory Black and White Textured Jacket and Kristel Black and White Textured Shorts form a matching set with a cropped boxy jacket and high-waisted shorts. Their black-and-white texture provides a graphic base for fine cracked makeup.
The most effective version keeps the cracks concentrated around part of the face rather than covering it completely. This allows the contrast between the polished outfit and the fractured porcelain effect to remain visible.
The spider enchantress
The Pam Panna Feather-Cuff Shirt offers a less expected starting point. Its pale colour and classic collar keep the look composed, while the contrasting feather-effect cuffs introduce movement around the hands.
Pair it with black trousers or a long black skirt, then add a fine line extending from the eye, dark nails or one spider-inspired detail. The character does not need decorative webs across the entire outfit; the cuffs and makeup already provide enough texture.
The vampire after midnight
The Letizia Black Lace Midi Skirt has a short opaque lining, leaving the lower floral-lace section sheer. Worn with a close-fitting black top, it gives the vampire character a different shape from the tailored Vampire Army.
Deep lipstick, loose hair and a small piece of metallic jewellery can complete the look without adding another decorative layer.

Beyond Halloween
After Halloween, wear the same pieces without the masks and theatrical makeup.
